Carolina van Hellenberg Hubar-Ramacciotti runs the Italian Desk at Voorneman Geenen, where she applies herself mainly to real estate transactions in her home country Italy.Her Italian legal background and extensive network enable her to provide an unique level of services. Being firmly rooted in the Netherlands she knows perfectly how to link our country with Italy.

Carolina van Hellenberg Hubar studied giurisprudenza (law) at the Università degli Studi di Milano, Italia (1980). She also received a degree from the academic center for returning lawyers at the Erasmus University Rotterdam (1994). She is a court-appointed interpreter/translator and she is a member of the Pin Yin commission under the auspices of the Dutch Comparative Law Society (de Nederlandse vereniging voor Rechtsvergelijking).

She has been living in the Netherlands for almost 30 years and has a lot of relevant experience. she has worked as an Italian lawyer at law firms in Breda and Amsterdam and has been the assistant of a member of the European Parliament. She has worked as a freelance translator for the European Court of Justice for a number of years. Since 2004 she has been an independent adviser at Voorneman Geenen.

Carolina van Hellenberg Hubar often works in cooperation with a very prominent Italian notary, her uncle Ludovico Barassi from Milan. Mr Barassi has been chairman of the National Order of Notaries in Italy. Apart from that he has been a teacher at the Scuola di Notariato della Lombardia in Milan and a member of the notarial council in Milan. He has a great number of honorary titles in foundations and board of directors. For instance, he is an adviser for the world famous Teatro alla Scala.
