Nicole de Taeye is responsible for the French practice at Voorneman Geenen, especially in the field of real estate. She advises and guides people at buying or selling a (second) house in France. She advises for instance on precontracts, purchase contracts, inheritance law, probate duties and the founding of an SCI (Société Civile Immobilière).

Nicole de Taeye has lots of experience in advising on French legal issues. She studied License en Droit, (law) at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium. She also received a Diplôme d’Etudes Approfondies en Relations et Coopération Internationales (postdoctoral studies in International Relations) at the Université d’Aix en Provence, France. Nicole de Taeye is a 'avocat honoraire au Barreau de Bruxelles' and a court-appointed interpreter/translator Dutch to French.

She is member of a legal translation organisation, the Pin Yin Commission (Pin Yin Commissie) (under the auspices of the Dutch Comparative Law Society (Nederlandse vereniging voor Rechtsvergelijking)). As a speaker of French who has been living in the Netherlands for a number of years, she understands the cultural differences as no other and apart from that, she as a very extensive network. She has lots of legal experience, for instance as a foreign lawyer at a multidisciplinary office and as a lawyer at the French Desk of a trust agency.
